Just got my new seats for my 2008 PII and was looking for little advice (or direction to thread). My old seats had an aluminum flange on each seat of seat rail that bolts ran through but new does not. Guessing I just drill couple holes about midways through the side rails of new seat frame to hold lower frame down? Any idea exactly what size drill bits to use for the new anchors that will be pressed into fiberglass that hold these bolts? Also, what size drill bit for the screws that I assume run through the lower part of the seat back as was done on the original seats? Any other advice (other than dont drill into gas tank!)? Its not rocket science…just wanting little info for cleanest install possible.
