replacing tm transducer

not unusual for me to run into problems trying to do anything. Busted my transducer on bottom of my TM so while trying to replace it I have hit a snag. There are 2 wire that hook to dept finder , one goes to transducer the other goes through a hole . The one going through the hole I cant pull out? How do ya get that wire out . thanks

That goes to power supply. No need to pull it out if you are not going to replace unit.

Maybe I missed something, but it looked to me like a single wire with a female plug that went directly into back of dept finder, then one wire split to the transducer on bottom of TM and the other went through the little hole toward back of boat. So I guess the new transducer comes with both wire and I use the existing one to pull the new one back to power supply? thanks Last edited by zoomCatD6R on January 30th, 2013, 12:29 am, edited 1 time in total.
