Any tips or advice? Ive removed the seats and seat backs& pulled off the old skins. I noticed there were 2 aluminum flat bars holding the old skins in place onto the fiberglass backing frames. Plenty of foam padding around the bars. Is it best to remove a couple strips of the foam padding where cut already by factory? I assume the installation process would be easier if foam padding was progressively added after each of the individual bars were fastened in place. I think the bars help to pull and define the roll separation between the “headrest” area and the “backrest” area. What about the plastic film between vinyl and foam padding? Is it to ease sliding on the skin and should be replaced? Would 3M 77 spray adhesive be a good choice to keep it positioned? What is the length of the rivets required for fastening the aluminum bars? Any tips from anyone with seat skin replacement experience would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance, Buck
