I am restoring a 1976 basscat XXII Trihull and didnt think all you guys sporting the new basscats but he suggested I post them some pics so here you go. I bought it 3 years ago with just the hull and trailor and steering helm. Since then I have completley rewired it from front to back. I removed the fiberglass hatches and replaced them wijth marine plywood to make it flat and level. I also enclosed the middle section for more storage for tackle boxes and gear. I rewired the trailor with new wire and lights.I have a 1979 DT85 Suzuki outboard on it now but I am going to sell it (i hope) and put the money towards a 115hp. Thats what it is rated for. I have some interior work to do but it is functional for now. I put a 46lb motorguide on it brand new. I have an Eagle 320 and a 480 on it now, but I plan to sell the 320 and get a Eagle 642C for next year. The day before I bought it I went to visit the basscat factory then found this in mtn home. Hows that for carma? My Dad lives near mtn home in gamaleil ARK. I try to get to see my dad once a year. I hope to have it done by this years owners invitatiional! Hope you guys like it!
