Hey guys im workin on a buddies 05 puma and i am re-riveting the rub rail. So my question is what length rivet is bass cat using? The rub rail was loose to begin with so i pulled the entire rail off and am re installing it using the same rail and exsisting holes. The hole diameter seems to be a 3/16 but im wondering what lenght the rivets are. I purchesed some 1 inch long blind rivets from grainger with a max .875 grip range but that does not seem long enough. If i peek thru the other side you can see the rivet head poke thru but should be at least 1/2 inch longer or at minimum 1/4 inch. The longest rivet grainger sells is the one im using (max .875 grip range) with a 0.375 head witch is needed to fit inside the rub rail. Im hoping somone can point me in the right direction to getting the correct length rivet. I will call parts in the morning just seein if anyone on here as experienced this in the past. Thanks
