I am trying to come up with a better rod holding mechanism than the standard velcro straps that come on the Cougar FTD. I would love to install rod buckles on my Cat but I can’t seem to find a simple way to do it without cutting into the fiberglass gunwales. Any ideas here? I was hoping to mount them from under the deck but there’s a lot of ‘stuff’ in the way. Thx
