Actually the spiral wrap was developed many years ago but has been coming on strong for 10 years or so. I am not up to date on which companies do build these now but you can find them I am sure. There would really be no point in a 360 degree wrap. I have been building mine this way for over 10 years and see no reason to do it any other way.
Several companies make them but the last one I saw was a Hammer. Look at BPS and you might find them. The 180s that is. Where the eyes end up on the bottom of the rod.Last edited by David2000 on August 5th, 2010, 6:46 pm, edited 1 time in total.
I think Roberts Rods have the eyes that hang upside down for casting reels like the spinning rods do. I used one once and you can really feel a jig on the bottom better.
