I dont want to start an argument but that is not 3-4 fters, maybe 1-2 from the looks of the pics anyway. But it is rough and can get you in trouble quick if you dont know what you are doing!

I was in 4 or 5 footers last september on dardanelle the 2nd day of our bfl super tourney. It was the same day Hurricane Gustav came thru here sustained winds 35mph gusting to 50 it was rough. Like BCB said throttle control is key my motto in rough water is trim it down and hold it down. You have to learn to time the waves but keep it trimmed proper and use the throttle mostly alot of throttle and its not to hard to do. Fished Ouachita today in 3 and 4 footers and had no problems. Never got wet once.

Those are probably 2 to 30″ waves at average, since it is measured from water level and not the trough. The new measurement for warnings is measured from troughs. This is because everyone speaks of the trough up to crest. True 4 to 5 waves are brutal, though they can be run in.

You are correct, these particular pics are less than 3 footers, But we had JUST COME across the main lake and they were believe me 3 to 4 footers. i did not have the camera out at that time as i was more focused on staying alive and for sure not getting the camera wet. EITHER WAY, the BASSCAT proved itself GREATLY
