Running light not working

My front running light quit working. Its not the light, because it will work when inserted in the back. Any troubleshooting ideas. Its a 2015 P2. Also the red backlight on my tach gauge quit. All other gauges have a red backlight. What is required to fix this? Thanks.

It is time to get out the multi-meter and start checking for power along the circuit. It is the fastest, most accurate method for debugging power issues.

The front socket usually is the connection on the actual pins. The dash light is usually a bulb itself.
