My 08 Cougar FTD seems to run alot flatter than the Cats in the website pics.I rarely run my boat heavy -I may have 12 to 15 lbs of tackle in front compartment .How do you guys get the bow up that high at speed?
Engines are not too high and they dont over trim. There is nothing special done for the images, though there is no tackle. Some have batteries and some do not. The boats are set up, taken for images, delivered to meeting for dealers to drive and then sold as is. Every 2014 or 2013 seen in images was sold as is on the web site.
A buddy of mine is a photographer & first chance we get Im taking him to the lake & putting him out on a dock w/ his camera lol.13 PIV w/ 200 MercIG: WarriorRiverCustomRods
It is very hard together quality looks with a still sitting photographer. We use boats to get these images and there is some talent involved in a few areas. You just dont go out with anyone and get these results. Sometimes we have not been pleased at all and other times we settle for what we have. These past several years the drivers and photographers have done a much better job getting these images where they were at years back. There was a stretch a good time ago where we just didnt get results we were after and the same photographer was used, only the drivers and cameras changed. In time drivers have improved as have the later photographers we newer equipment knowledge. These last several years are images like we got with real film in early 1990s, and those were award winning in some cases. One particular rear corner shot you could read everything down to the MotorGuide emblem on the trolling motor head.
My buddy is top notch. Hes got experience photographing running boats, race cars, etc… Im fully confident they will turn out great, whether from the dock, or someone elses boat.13 PIV w/ 200 MercIG: WarriorRiverCustomRods
