We do not release the capacity, as they would be seeming smaller than others advertise. Though in reality they are larger as others measure the entire space in the livewell, including that above the overflow which never gets water. The competitors simply dont measure only the area that retains water. They are often fictitious in their numbers, thus we choose to not open that conversation. Its alot like the old “coffee shop” racing in the 90s, before GPS. We made the BP-100 dashes accurate, and those orund table discussions always had us getting beat. Just because John Smith says his boat will run 80 mph, it must and mine only shows 73 on the digital readout. I want mine to run faster. We would ask them if they ever ran against John Smith, and no was the answer. Though his speedometer says it is running 80. Eventually we bumped up the later BP dashes to run faster than true just for this reason. GPS Fixed that, and we just dont want to get into that one again.
