What is the difference between the the Vision and Advantage model? All it mentions on the website is max motor.

OK thanks for the responses . So I think the question I have is what is the equipment differences between the Sabre FTD Vision and Advantage models on a new boat?

It is in the equipment in 2017. The 2018 frames have not been set yet. With the new Pantera Classic we do think there will be model or equipment revisions and alignments will change some.

Equipment is up to you… I assume you mean graphs, trolling motor, etc… you can have a local dealer do a build out for you. If the dealer is stocking them then they spec it out the way they like it. Look at the on line catalog and it will give you the details about the different standard equipment on the FTD as compared to the Vision. The decks are the same for 2017. Different HP ratings. Off the top of my head, some of the differences are pump in/pump out live well, built in Golden Rule, Different dash controls….a lot of little things that make life easier. I just bought the 2017 FTD Advantage Elite model. I looked at doing the Vision, but by the time I added options, it was better just to get the FTD AE. Plus I wanted to put the 175 Yamaha SHO on it and the Vision is not rated for a 175. It will run fine with the 150 though. The Yamaha 175 SHO is MADE for the Sabre Hull. It performs great, with speeds in the 70mph range, give or take.IMO, no other 18 boat compares. Its a hot rod and drives great in all areas of performance. The dimensions are identical. The Vision appears to be a more “base” package with 150 hp limit. The only way to get a 175 is to do the upgrade to the Advantage.96 Eyra/12 Mercury 175 Pro XS with 2015 single axle trailer2017 Victory Gunner
