I ordered my first ever Basscat, back in the very early part of Febuary. I am still waiting for its arrival. I think Christmas comes faster than a new boat does. The anticipation is begining to get to me now. I ordered a new Sabre. My dealer says its sposed to be here this week. I sure hope he is right. It feels like this years spawn will be 2 pounders by the time I get to go fishing, HAHAHA. A little over exagerated I am sure. I have been told once you go BASSCAT there is no other boat.

I have had the go fast real fast boats and I have had the in between boats, all the way down to just getting rid of my duck boat with 60 hp yamaha I have fished out of for the last 4 years, decided I wanted to go back to a glass boat for a while. Basscat seamed like the best boat for me.

Youll love it. Ive had mine since 08. Still looks like the day I bought it. Amazing boat. Youll be truly surprised at just what a Sabre will do and how it will perform. Ive driven bigger rigs my friends have, and dont really care for them. They feel like youre maneuvering an air craft carrier. Yes – most bigger rigs are faster than mid-60s. Handling and nimble feel – Sabre wins every contest. It handles like a go cart.

I did bite the bullet and put the 175 pro xs on mine. I am ready to get it and start playing with props and set up. I wont be happy till I know she is running her very best top end with the best hole shot possible. If my dealer is correct I will see it for the first time today or tomorrow as he said it would be here the week of the 4th.Last edited by muddywaters on April 7th, 2016, 1:56 pm, edited 1 time in total.
