I am looking at a powered jack frame to put on my new 2008 sabre/trailer. I need the totaled weight of my boat and trailer. Also, the tongue weight too. There is a company called EZ Tug that has motorized jacks that will power your boat and trailer forward and reverse. I bought a trailer dolly thinking I could move my boat on my driveway in and out of my garage. Well that didnt work. Way to much work for the weight. The EZ tug seems like a solution for me to easilty move my boat forward and reverse into tight spaces. My garage door is 2″ shy of 9. My boat should fit. Also, EZ Tug will work fine on level ground with boats weighing up to 3,000 lbs. Check out their website and dowload they EZ tug in action http://www.eztug.com/ Before I proceed I need to get dry weight of my boat and trailer. Also, does any know how much weight 33 gallon tank (full) weighs too? Thanks in advance, misr12
Look up powerwheel on the internet. I think it might be Powerwheel.com. or powerwheelusa.com. I almost purchased one of these. They have units that can move up to 8000 lbs. up a grade, on pavement on gravel and on grass.
misr12 wrote: Thanks, so far here is what i have for weight. Sabre 1200 lbs. Etec 150 HO, 418lb. 33 Gallons, 198 lbs. Trailer? misr12, probably looking at the Sabre going more toward 1400 lbs. I think the weight listed is hull only prior to rigging. Dont forget batteries, pumps, electronics and all the wiring that goes into the boat. Trailer is probably another 800 lbs at least. Probably close to 2900-3100 lbs, I would think. Good luck and show pictures when you put the EZ tug to use.96 Eyra/12 Mercury 175 Pro XS with 2015 single axle trailer2017 Victory Gunner
