how would a 91 p2 stack up against a 99 sabre as far as beam width , platform stability”tipping” storage ,fishability etc.thnxmark

Sabre is very stable for its size. Never fished out of any other BCB so… I cant compare it to a P2.13 PIV w/ 200 MercIG: WarriorRiverCustomRods

Fished out of both at different times , and the only difference is deck room . — Both are EXTREMELY stable , and I weigh about 325 lbs. — If it dont rock much when I move around , thats stable . — Hoss

I own a 99 sabre. I put in a custom built flipping deck which helped dramatically. I still am not used to the shorter boat (used to own a cougar FTD), whacked my dad in the back of the leg with a senko pretty good when trying to skip a dock. Its a fun, nimble little boat. Takes good size wake farely well, and much better than other brands ive owned or ridden in. 8 years newer is nice though over the p2. Can you drive them both and decide? Id reccomending fishing out of them both before you buy if you can. Id gladly take you for a ride if you are in my area (Minneapolis).Kent

My neighbor has a 2008 PII. The only difference, in my opinion, is the extra 1 in length and the fact he runs a 200 (I wish). They both appear to be equal in front deck width. Both boats handle and fish similar. Both have a quick holeshot, and provide a very stable fishing platform. While I plan to move up to a PII one day, the Sabre is hard to beat. My opinion. Whichever boat has been better maintained.

i have a 98 sabre. LOVE it. everyone who fishes with me says it is more stable than their boats. Most of those guys have 18+ boats and comment on how dry it is. I cannot comment on the PII. Are you actually looking and if so what are you coming from size wise. How they compare to each other might not be as important as how it compares to what your fishing out of now.
