We suppose that’s the bayou area mentioned. Hmm? We would get input from others, though those that rinse them well are better than those that run’em hard, put’em up wet and forgive ‘em when they fail. In short, rinse the bunks extremely well as they hold launch water and that’s the key factor. If you don’t trailer long distances we would consider GatorBak bunk coverings in saltwater, or brackish waters. As for below: you have to get below Palatka considerably to have an issue with a lot of saltwater influence. That is not backish water, though direct influence from saltwater. It works up in summer when flow is limited and is better in spring with rain and water flows up. If your bass fishing it’s usually not great regularly till you reach Palatka unless your focused on tidal pockets.
