Santee is good… For some

The BASS Weekend Series Regional is on the water now at Santee Cooper and many of our friends are off to a tough start. 20.01 is leading and we have several in the Top 50, including Allan Glasgow in 27th with 13 pounds. Allan has won both an FLW Stren and a BASS Open on Santee so hes comfortable. There are more in the Top 50 in BCB, though many just dont have the handle on Marion and Moultrie fish. Lots of events and championships this weekend for those with rods and not rifles. Go enjoy a beautiful weekend!

Looks tough. Figured it would be, but would still trade places with them.Next seasons regionals and nationals will be better location wise, and should draw good numbers. I just hope i can get by the regionals. Its tough trying to please all, and going east one year, west the next makes it hard to compete. But a good group, and i look forward to next season.

I missed the cut at the Mobile/Tensaw regional to go to Santee by one pound. Then I went to the KY Lake regional and got it even worse. 2 Regional and missed both cuts for Santee….I plan to make it next year! Good luck to Allan and my other friends and BCB guys fishing it this week, make us proud!

Just looked at the day 1 results from yesterday. The kid in 2nd is from Birmingham, my boater link from this past season is in 20th, my day one boater from the Tensaw is in 5th….lots of people I know doing well and several struggling. Also the guy in 7th, Michael Bradford, is a BCB guy out of Scottsboro.

Looks like Allan moved up to Fourth and Bradford is in Ninth. Several more BCB guys in the hunt. Phil slid up to 81st, though we think they cut today.

Congrats to Alan ! He is a super guy, always on top his game and very helpful anytime I needed anything.
