Easier to clean too. When you are ready to replace after several seasons of use your glass screen looks like the day you bought it. Put it on and forget about it. However, to some, it dims the brightness but IMO not enough even with my aging eyes. Overall, easier maintenance vs traditional water spot glass cleaning.

Fly, Ok Im your huckleberry and willing to give those a shot as water spots drive me crazy, but these seem a bit high compared to screen protectors for say iPads. What brand do you use? I know its only money and they will print more, but would rather direct the saving towards tackle or brown water I need them for a 1198 & 958.

Fly just yanking your chain as I trust your opinion. Looking on the web going rate seems to be between $15-30+ depending on brand and shipping. What do you think about the ones below? I use Ipad protector covers and they work great. no glare, no prob with the polarized shaeds, cheap. Just cut to fit ur deminsions…

All good and no worries. I dont think I paid more then $20 for them and Ive lost 2 lures totaling more.
