sealing splash well area?

I have a 96 PII that has some stress cracks in the splash well that I can feel with my finger. They are in the very bottom where it curves. Is there a recommended way to seal the area. I am concerned that water will be absorbed.

They should not be a concern unless they are large openings. Small cracks are not an issue. BCB
