Anyone tried these? Odessey supposedly makes both of these and specs are nearly the same (approx. 1125 CCA w/ 205 RC), but the Sears branded one sells for about $100 less and Im not sure why. Just wanted to know if any of you had experience with either or both of these, or opinions. I ran Optimas in the past which were good, but the plate technology in these batteries is supposed to be even better, as well as full replacement warranty instead of pro-rated.

Sears Platinum 31 batteries are awesome and have one of the best warranties out there. I have two for my trolling batteries and plan on getting one for my cranking battery soon!

We dont suggest the investment for trolling batteries, though they are great on cranking batteries.

Thanks guys. BCB, I agree approx. $900 is a pretty good chunk of change on batteries, but, if you spend an extra $100 per battery over maybe something not so big, and have to replace it sooner, then is it a wash anyway.These are pretty much guaranteed for 3 years or replaced ( if you get a bad one). What TM batteries does BCB recommend, just curious ? Thanks.

I have 3 of the Sears 31s in my Cougar and love them. I chopped through the grass all day on Guntersville without a hiccup. Buy without regret.
