I have an 06 Classic. Any suggestions on cleaning & protecting my seats? Ive heard Lemon Pledge for protecting, but does it clean too. Phil

BCBs told me to use Scrubbing Bubbles on the seats for cleaning. It works great.

Agree with the above cleaning tips, after you have cleaned Spray and treat with BTS. Great product for the entire boat. RWP

Wouldnt it be good to put leather protectant on after cleaning to put moisture back in them and keep them soft. I wipe mine down with this and they arent slick either but have a shine.

The seats arent leather though they look like it. I believe it is recommended not to put any leather products on the seats as this will cause them to crack.

Stay away from the “protecting” products. I used a product claiming to protect vynal on my bench seats and they cracked 2 weeks later. They held up great for 5+ years until I tried to protect them. I wont make that mistake on my new buckets. My advise is to throw the vynal or leather cleaners in the trash next to the grease gun.

Rlb8s! That was good, though we agree! We replace Eyra seats on occasion, and the rod pad is vinyl also. Though the rod support pad will usually be supple and soft. Though the seats are hard as weathered leather. The Owner will often comment on wondering why the seats did not hold up as well as they thought, then we point out that the rod base is soft as new. Then they admit to trying some form of a vinyl protectant. They all forget to rub down that rod pad.
