Fiberglass cover covering main fuel tank i.e. under seats seems to have come loose on driver side where it meet the floor how is the best way to fix? 2006 Puma
Odds are the screws inthe fiberglass are stripped. You don have much room to refasten on the lip. We would either upsize screws if you can, or check to see the original screws will hold. Then we would tab short areas of urethane adhesive onthe lip to hold the box in the event the screws back out. It will help retain the box and remove pressure from the screws. You can also look at the by serial number pictures of construction shots in Facebook. The newer system is there and work well. This will apply to Puma, Panteras (all) and Sabre models in those albums.
I have had the same problem on an 07 Puma. I used lock tight with some luck. This has still required tightening 1-2 times/year. Also just like you it is only on the drivers side.Am I the only guy that doesnt have facebook? haha
No, and you can view the albums without Facebook. It tries to get you to join up, it takes some working around the button options to getting to work without an account.
John, regarding only person to not do “facebook”? No, you arent as I do not and have no reason to ever believe I would. Just see no reason for it at all – same gos for “twitter”, etc. too. To each his own I guess?
Guys I had my passenger seat screw get loose about 2 years ago. I pulled seat, marine texd the hole, let it set up and retapped with same screw bcb uses with large flanges. Have had ZERO issues since.C.O.D. Jr. III
