One other thing to check…turn on both your graphs, then secure your power at the master switch under the throttle handle, both graphs should turn off, if not then one or both are wired directly to the battery and will draw power even though they are “turned off”.
BCB,Look at the topic I posted Battery Problem or something else and it will explain why I am looking at voltage draw. I am sure in the armed state it is minimal draw, but I am trying to rule every possibility out.
JSLAW,I checked this and all graphs will be off when the master switch is off. Both graphs are linked to one ant. so that should be the only power draw and it is down when the master switch is off. Thanks for the input.
Use the milliamperes setting on your voltmeter and be very careful to not blow a fuse in your unit. Run the wires of the voltmeter in line and determine the milliamperes drain from battery to the individual components. Of you have a stereo it can be large on battery drain.
Unhless I missed this in your initial post. When they left the switch on and killed the battery completly the battery may have lost a cell. If you unhook everything from the battery and charge it, then let it sit for 8 hours, does it maintain an accecptable voltage? You may want to try a known good battery (new) to see if the problem persists. I think you have a bad battery! This is not uncommon after killing one.Hope this helps
No other way to get the info….If we told you here we would have to lock you up for life…..seriously you can only get that info from BCB
ahh ok I was interested in what its protecting ( the lockers ) and how it was armed and de armed….Trust me here Im already locked away on a life sentance……..as she reads this over my shoulder
Unless somethinghas change the AE models usually do not come with security systems are not usually installed…part of keeping the cost down, unless it was an option that was added on. Though as others have said, contact BCB and they will tell you how it works as there is a few sequences that arm and disarm the system.
thanks just was curious on it……
It will depend on the year model and we dont like it going on the board as public info. They prefer to speak personally on this. Though your dealer should be able to help out also.

Cant give any details cause they swore me to secrecy on how it works.Last edited by kramr on April 23rd, 2010, 10:59 pm, edited 1 time in total.
He he! We just never know who is reading or if those visiting here have honorable intentions.

Ran to my 1st stop and as soon as I stepped up on the front deck it started going off, and I had to unhook the battery to cut it off. I didnt even realize I had an alarm but Im glad I do. How do I cut this thing off?Chris call service tomorrow. They wont post any info on the alarm in a public forum.
