Myself and my wifes brother in law are both currently selling boats and have both been contacted by what appears to be a scam. they will contact by text or email likely as a yahoo user. ask about condition and hours… then want your final price. they will ask if you are ok with a moving company picking up your boat once you have been paid. they will try to set up the transaction through paypal. If they call it will show on your cell phone as Greater Los Angeles Area. Likely it will be a woman. This is a scam to gain access to your paypal account. DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION ….. fortunately we both picked up on it before it got to that point. Just wanted my Bass Cat Brothers to be aware of this so it doesnt catch someone off guard.
