I currently own a 2017 Cougar AE with a Mercury Optimax on the rear. The boat uses Mercury Controls. There are 2 small screws on the inside of the handle that sit on the portion of the handle that controls the locking mechanism. How do I tighten those screws up? Is this like an older mercury I/O where you pushed in the center button on the throttle to get throttle only, then removed the cap, and 11/16 nut so you could pull off the throttle handle to tighten those 2 screws?
