Mine came from the factory set up as you see in the pic. I have not touched it. I have a 2013 Cougar with the 250 Pro XS, 26 Fury that I have had for five months. I have great holeshot, it planes quickly with no blowout, and top end is just over 80mph (light load). For me, this works great just as is. On the other hand, I am not one looking to tweak to get that extra mile or two per hour, particularly if my holeshot is good. I would follow BCBs suggestion, and leave it for now, get the feel of your rig, and then, later, adjust it if necessary.
