Yes, it is center of prop shaft using that measurement. Then you subtract the 2 numbers and that is how much you are below the pad. With a hydraulic plate you can throw the measurements out the window because you dont need them. Run the trim up almost to the top and then bump it down a little bit…then raise the plate until you get a touch of torque. You should be flying at that point. I honestly havent taken a measurement since I went to the hydraulic plate and just drive by feel…also water conditions warrant the plate lower if it is rough so you can get more bite. Load can also affect how high you can take it. DO NOT raise it to high when running it wide open and realize what steering torque is. Good luck. Judd Lasiter
