I am getting close to be able to buy my dream boat. I decided to wait until I could get what I want vs getting what I could afford at the time. I want an Eyra I know and have worked out the options I want. I keep leaning towards getting a SHO on it but the local dealer is a Mercury only dealer. What info can I get about the SHO vs Merc 4stroke on performance and reliability? Top speed is not a bid concern but reliable and resale is. I will be getting a 250 either way and will prop it to have good acceleration and set up to pull the kids around. Thanks.
