People must be getting really desperate to make up New SHO Rumors, take supposed “inside info” with a grain of salt. These forums can be a whirl wind of terrific info, it can also slow down your process by Trudging thru the BS, like 90mph 18ft boats, to “my bass boat was $75,000″…..I feel the Pantera 4 with a Yamaha SHO would be a Killer Package, perfect size boat,low maintenance motor, also I would go to your local Mercury dealer and Spec out a Mercury 200-I4 Verado, that motor was really made up for Bass boats and such, it ROCKS, on a 20 1/2ft Lund Pro V (their flagship hull and very heavy and aluminum) with Tiller steering guys are getting 52-54mph!!!!! Plus with the Merc you get national service that no one can come close to. I am a Yamahammer Guy, I also think on that Hull a Evinrude 200 HO ETEC is the Perfect setup if you like 2 stroke Torque and Maintenance…I would look at all options, sometimes you can even save some $$$ by purchasing a closeut motor from BCB, dont count on a closeout 200 SHO though, very hard motor to get discounts on…..Brannon
