Hello. I am going to install a Humminbird XP 20 shoot thru transducer in my P – 3. My Pinpoint unit bit the dust. I have a Helix 7 inch to add to my console. I have a Helix 10 SI already on the dash. I have the area cleaned in the bilge . My question is do i scuff the bottom of the transducer to help hold the epoxy. Thanks for your help. Brian
