Shoot thru hull transducer

Have a 98 Jag. It is my understanding that this boat has wood involved in the hull. Will a shoot thru hull transducer (hummingbird) work on this boat. Hate to buy only to find out that it wont work. Tried to search but unable to find anything. Thanks in advance.

I had a 98 P2 and the transducers would shoot through the hull. BUT I hit a stump and when I had it repaired it would not. As long as you have not had any repairs done in that area you should be just fine.

The area is 6” x 6” in front of the drain plug where it will shoot through on all models.
