Silver cap question

For those that have a silver cap, does it seem to bother you any on sunny days? I mean do you ever think there is to much reflection back in your eyes?

I saw one at a dealership when it was extremely sunny and there is no way that I would own one with a Silver cap.

It all depends? We have worked on many and fished from plenty. We like the silver better than the darker colors that are way hot in the summer time. We really dont like colors darker than raspberry in house, with the exception of a few. Though it is about what you want and we have more colors than you have Easter eggs. Take a look at one and get an opinion from someone who owns one, or has? BCB

I have found that the Silver is much cooler, & has not been an issue with glare ect. Makes a beautiful boat in my opinion. I have owned em All , Triton, Skeeter, Ranger, Bullett, Stratos, Even a Sprint haha , But I have gotten more compliments on this boat than all others put together.

My last two boats have had silver caps, and Ive also had blue fox, which is close, and Remington steel. I have had NO issues with sun glare off the silver, and really like the fact that it does not show dirt very badly. As far as overall interior colors, I personally prefer some version of silver to a white. Mike Whitten/Germantown, TN

Thanks, I have a white cap on another brand of boat, its very cool in the summer. I think I will be ordering mine today with a silver cap on a P4.

tae73, I was concerned somewhat when I got mt Puma with a silver cap that it might have a glare but I havent had any problem at all with glare and it is cool to the touch in the middle of the summer. I love mine!!! Billy

I also love my silver cap, and will probably have another, and probably a silver hull ! It is absolutely the easiest color to keep clean, so there you go, and no the reflection isnt an issue. D.

I have had 2 silver capped boats (BassArkie owns one of them ) and this one is silver sided. Silver is without a doubt the best color I have ever had anywhere on a boat, it looks cleaner and doesnt show scuffs near as bad as many of the other colors. Most people wear sunglasses when it is sunny outside anyway, but I dont think it would bother me regardless honestly. My eye dr told me when I had my Lasik surgery done that cataracts are caused by sun and he wanted me to take care of my eyes and not to be outside without glasses, even on overcast days. I have taken that advice. Judd Lasiter
