Nature of SmartCraft. That averaging mode is a bit slow we think as well. Though it prevents false readings. The use of SC systems is also offshore which usually has more slosh to deal with. It would be nice ot have a toggle screen for averaging from Fast to Medium, or Slow. We doubt that software will get altered though. One thing we might add is that a better reading can be obtained by establishing the settings when you fill your tanks. For example on the 33 gallons main tanks start with 5 gallons in the tank, put in 7 gallons after almost empty at a quarter, 7 gallons to half mark, 7 gal. to 3/4 markl and top at full with 7 gallons more or maxed out. Only do this on your way to the lake to prevent loss of fuel and venting issues in a heated space from expansion. BCB
