Nice job, with the fishes, and an even better job with your daughter. You are absolutely right to teach her all you can about the boat and how to handle it. Meredith, my 16 year old daughter, can drive the my Cougar FTD as well as most men, and better than some, and is a strong tournament partner. If something were to happen to me on the water, she could get things planed off, and back to the ramp. Dads like us need to send a strong message–Take your daughters fishing! If they are in the boat, you know where they are, who they are with, when they will come home, and what WILL NOT hurt them. Plus, it is a great time to talk about life and what is going on in theirs. Hope her next smallie is over 6! Best regards, Mike Whitten
