You can get hours, engine temps, fuel usage, mileage, etc. I have two smart craft gauges and I keep one on the engine temp and constantly monitor. The other is set on fuel usage. You can catch any over heat issues right away instead of waiting for the engine alarm to go off. I would not own a boat without the monitors.
