Smartcraft Merc. Monitor battery drain

I have master power breakers dedicated to both electronics and power pole circuits. I notice that every week or so I need to top off the charge on my starting batt. I suspect that the Merc. Monitor is causing a parasitic drain since itself and the motor are the only things outside of the two mentioned circuits. Battery is new. Can anyone confirm?

Could be a stereo also if you have one.

No stereo. Can anything be done to the MM to prevent this other than unplugging it, etc? Anybody else having the same problem? I really hate to keep my charger plugged in all the time but it seems like it would be the only solution to prevent the drain.

A lamp timer is best solution, to come on for a period every week.

I have the same problem on my Eyra…but I have a stereo in mine. I kill the power switch and battery still drains. How do I fix it? Lamp timer seems like a bandaid to a problem.
