I have been playing with the new 26 Fury and the lower unit. I found that I had to come up on the jack plate to get better performance and the height on the rooster tail where I wanted it. Man did that make a difference. I was fully loaded with fuel tournament rigged with two people WOT boat was making 74.8 mph. The hole shot was great and the mid range torque would jerk your head back. The $479 on the fury was probably the best money I have spent. Oh yeah the 225 was turning almost 5900 RPMs.

Yes that Fury is the real deal. 74.8 with your load is pretty dang good! A 27 Fury and a 250 would really be sweet!

Clint, I dont know I have been measuring it off of the jack plate rather than getting out the straight edge and leveling everything. I know I came up 3/8″ from where the trophy plus was running. If you need me to I will get out the straight edge and measure everything for you.

I know you have run this set up so here is the question. On a 250 Pro Xs with the Fury 26 on a 08 Puma. What size plugs are you using in the Fury if any?

I di not think so. The reason I asked was this boat was in Stillwater Marine before H20 Opened up and I was having hole shot problems and I told him I needed plugs. well I found last nights there is a new set of plugs in the prop. I never put any in. So I removed the plugs and am taking it back out tomorrow. Thanks for the response.
