So BCB, enough already, How did the New Sabre Run?

Im sitting here chompin at the bit to see what you guy did with my beloved Sabre FTD for Refinements in the hull? How hard would it be to add the Scallop to the lower hull, to make it a baby Cougar FTD? Nevermind my sillyness, so is she running High 60s with a 150 Pro XS? If a couple MPH are gained we have a 70mph consistent Hull with a 175? Brannon

The boat ran great. It had a great bow lift and was a faster hull. You could definitely tell the hull wasnt rounded like the earlier hulls. It really had some bite and was ready to run. I dont remember exactly what speed I saw out of the boat. I think I was running mid-60s. It was very humid (VERY!!!) when I ran the boat so Im sure that affected the speed somewhat. Well Andy I honestly was excited to Chit Chat with you about some stuff, but my boss would not let me go…..Im sure my Evinrude Pro Shirts were missed So Andy did you look underneath to see if they sharpened the Hull like a Cougar? Is the pad a concave design more like the 20s? Come on guys details, Im Wiggin out being the guy out of the Loop…..Brannon

No one saw under the Sabre hull. It was in the water that morning and out after everyone left. BCB

You can call me anytime if you need to talk about anything. As Bass Cat mentioned, we never got to see the hull of the Sabre. The only static boats parked at the resort were 20 models. The 18 and 19 boats were on the water, as well as many other 20 models, and we never got to see the hulls. The cool thing is that Bass Cat had the old hull and the new hull for the Sabre on the water. When you drove both of them, you could really tell the difference… though, in my opinion, they are both great hulls… just a little different.
