Ok Sam, and everyone else that would like to know whats up, our sectional tournament went pretty well. It was a little rainy out but we managed to make it through the day. The day started off great. Picked #1 for takeoff, got to the spot we wanted to go to (without any prop blowout) (hahahahaha), wasnt about 30 minutes before we boated fish number one. YAY. 13 1/4 inch smallie. (12 inch limit) after that, we had a little bit of stretch of not catching anything. But then, the fish started biting again and I pulled in another smallie…. only to find out it was a 1/4 inch short… grrrr… about 5 minutes or so later I pulled in another smallie!… only to find this one to be yet again JUST short of the limit. UGH. Frustrating? YES! And then we had another long period of no fish time. Meanwhile my teams other boat pulled in a 14 1/2 inch smallie and a 13 1/2 inch smallie. YAY for them. Then my partner pulled in a LARGEMOUTH!!! needless to say… it was about 8 inches long. At this point there was only like an hour or so to fish left. OH and I forgot to say that I lost a decent fish during that time of no fish. THAT ANGERED ME MUCH! So… thats how we ended the tournament.. one fish in the boat… weighed in at a WOPPING 1.04 pounds yay. ended up 9th in the tourney. better than not placing at all last year.Dan Yonan. ———————————————————
