I won a safety award at work. I got a WalMart gift card and decided to buy a SOG Trident knife. As another board posted, kind of ironic I bought a knife with a safety award, I know. It is a pretty sweet knife. It has a spring assisted opening mechanism so it opens lightening fast (every bit as fast as a switch blade). It is super sharp. I got the TiNi coating so I hope to avoid rust issues. It also has a cutout on the handle so you can cut fishing line without even opening the blade. It is INSANELY light and has a really nice hand feel. If you are looking for a solid knife for fishing, I highly recommend it. The only issue I have found is that when open, the blade has a tiny bit of side to side motion at the hinge. A quick turn of an alan wrench and problem solved.
