…and that somebody is Britt (aka “Gasbasser”). He picked up his new Jag today. He has been VERY excited about this boat. Im sure hell upload many more pictures when he gets the Kitty home. He had to make a detour to get her wet on his way home. Heres the new Jag. Its located in South Carolina if anyone wants to see it in person…Andy GreeneGreene Boat & MotorAndy Greene Greene Boat & Motor 828-286-2290 http://www.greeneboats.com
Wipe that smile off your face and get your butt on the water! When do we get more pics of the top side of that aircraft carrier? Wow! Please say your going to the OI.Congrats!

I would love to post more pics but the insert image icon/button is no longer present when I post. Any suggestions where it went? Ok, now to the meat and potatoes. WOW!! Suffered my 2 hours of slow go break in procedure. Then I let the big Kitty eat, of course no longer than 5 minutes at WOT! Boat corners like it is on rails. The SHO rocks, there is nothing else to say. Throws the battleship on plane almost instantly, super quiet and mid range is what everyone else has said, unbelievable. 68 MPH 5500 RPMs, no significant rooster tail. 70.4 at 5600 RPMS no significant rooster tail and starts to chine. Motor is mounted 2nd hole from top, inner jack plate is 1/8″ up and above outer. 25 ventless yamaha prop and water PSI is over 20. I have never had a boat that would run fast enough to chine, so I am gonna leave things put for now unless something seems out of place. That engine is something else, I just dont think describing it could do it justice. If you can, you need to experience one. Of course my experience with Mark, Kim and Andy at Greene Boat and Motor was top notch as expected and the entire process with Basscat Boat has been a pleasure. Fire away if you have questions. I feel the boat has a good bit more top end, I just dont think I can do personally until I get some more seat time. When that big ole thing gets squirley it is a little Scarey!Britt
Britt, We think once you have it loaded and broken in, then you may want to drop the engine a week bit. We look for top end speeds around 68 with 2 people and gear. Some might run better, though we try to never over promise. BCB
Do you have the Yamaha digital gauges? if so how the heck to you find your water pressure? Havent figured out how to pull it up on mine.
Yes I do have the digital gauges, but had a separate PSI gauge installed. On mine, the water PSI is at the bottom of the RPM gauge, it is bar gauge Less——more kinda of thing. Pressing the mode button toggles through the different gauges. I think that left gauge, the RPM on mine does Battery, trim, water PSI, water Temp oh yeah and hour meter….. cant remember if thats all or not. Will let you know in a bit when I get through all my manuals. I couldnt get the smart gauge to display speed, but the GPS does that. About to sit down with all the manuals and get educated.Britt
Britt, It has to be turned on inside the GPS menus on the unit. There is no output till you turn the output on.
Ok well thats what I found on my gauge just a less/more indication. That will work just thought I missed something. Have fun with your new boat!

It works okay as long as you understand how the PSI reltates to the middle of the graph. If that number is not correct please share.
Gasbasseruse the IM system and he will get e-mail notification. BCB Admin
