Not 100% positive but I think that the Grey lines with the red markings were the ones that were getting eat up by the ethanol….i have the same ones and new lines on the shelf…..just watching for any sign that they are degrading….I thnk that I got the sign today………..Ill report my findings.ElwoodElwood…..Bass Cat Proud
I cant believe that my 09 Sabre has fuel lines that are insufficent for Ethanol,it says B1 and red.We have had Ethanol in Va for quite some time now.The other boat I had was set up for this problem.I cant work out of that little hatch as big as I am and dont know how the fuel lines even run in this boat.To make matters worse Pops marine closed down and you would need to know the layout of the boat and so on to work on it.There is not a dealer in this area I would trust except Coopers Marine and he sells Smokercraft. That might be why my motor is running erratic. How the heck do you replace the black fuel line from the tank to the back??I need to find out where Pops mechanic is and get some help
You do not have to replace the black line from the gas tank as BC uses up to date lines. The gray with the primer bulb would be the only one in question. They are not hard to replace on my 96 Eyra……and I check in at 325lbs. The gray lines are a Mercury OEM product and should be most up to date at time of manufacturing. It is not a boat issue as much as engine, so Coopers Marine may be willing to check it over for you.96 Eyra/12 Mercury 175 Pro XS with 2015 single axle trailer2017 Victory Gunner
