Cut the end of the hose at the engine. You wont be able to the end since it connects on top of the gear case. You can also pull the end off the speedometer, cut the end back a little, and put a screw or plug in it. Lastly, if you want to stop the leak and have the speedometer, pull the tubing off the speedometer, cut the end off, reconnect with some silicone around the fitting, then put a small tie wrap around it.
