I got a Springfield pro post for an early Fathers Day gift. It has the threaded pin end. All of the info says the 3/4″ posts are universal and the threaded work in a non-threaded base – just doesnt lock in. When I tried to install yesterday, the pins about 3/8″ too long. The BCB bushing seems to be too shallow. Trying to keep from having to hacksaw a 3/4″ pin. The original pro post there has a 2 7/8″ pin length. The Springfield has a 4″ pin length with the threading.
