Squeal??

Hooked up the Puma Saturday and when I pulled her out of the basement there was a squeal comming from the trailer somewhere. I backed up a couple of feet and it stopped. Went to the ramp and checked the wheels to see if anything felt hot, they did not. Any suggestions on what and where I should look? Really sounded like a breakpad squealer but does my 2005 Puma even have such? It is a sharp turn out of the basement if that helps.Like the old saying bad things come it threes. Knocked a chunk off my skeg and even worse my partner (wife) lost a big fish during our tournament. Popped her 8 lb line like thread! Oh well maybe this will be it for a while?

My PIV squeals making slow tight turns. I am assuming its the brake pads since it stops once the trailer staightens out.

As long as the hubs are not heating up when towing, we would not worry about a squealer, other than the frustrations of hearing the parking lot chirp. The 2010 models have some of this, and older trailers get it in time. We are working with UFP on the 2010 models, though 2005 are just a matter of making sure that the calipers are secure and fastened tight.

I will crawl under and see if there is anything loose. And yes it is a sharp right hand turn.

Could this be due to no rubber between the springs, just a thought. I dont have this problem though i only travel 2 blocks to the ramp and probably will have to pack the bearings every two years and change tires when they dry rot.

Oh and a max speed of about 15mph, except when i go get fuel then it is 20mph , so i dont even get a chance to hear anything with the wife telling me where she wants to fish which is always next to the bank. I have fixed that though, i got her an aluminum boat from her brother ( Lonnie Stanley is his father in-law) and hooked it to the 4-wheeler and she can dock it off our bank and just go to her little fishing hole whenever she wants. She has been killing them on the Stanley ribbits back in ………………. oh i like to have told yaw her spot.
