I was just wondering if i could replace the SS handles on my 09 pantera classic with a lighted bar?

There have been a couple done aftermarket, though BCB does not offer them. It requires turning down the rail and a custom lighting alteration.

I know I am in the minority based on a previous pole, but I prefer the SS rails. You dont have to worry about someone breaking or cracking them when climbing in and out of the boat. You can use them as a cleat to secure your boat to the dock. Plus you never have to worry about replacing the light or electrical issue w/ the ss rail. Yes, the lighted rail looks good, but the ss rail on your rig is a known quantity. If you ellect to give it a go, reach out to Flyswatter for I believe he did the mod to a PIV.

Thanks for the advice. To be honest the only reason i would do the lighted handrail is for looks. never thought about stability of the lighted bar compared to the stainless. Really need to focus my $ on other things but when you own a boat, im sure everybodys mind finds ways to empty the pocket. but thanks for the help
