What boats is Dupo Marine going to have at the show and is anyone from BCB going to be there?

Dupo will have a Puma FTD and a Cougar FTD at the show. The Cougar FTD will have a power pole on display also.

Dupo Marine will be there, and Ivan is scheduled to be there on Thursday and Friday. We are not sure which boats they will have.Last edited by Bass Cat Boats on February 12th, 2011, 9:56 pm, edited 7 times in total.

I hope everyone in the area comes out to the St Louis Boat Show. You will get to meet Rob and Monty from Dupo Marine along with the crew. They are more than just a dealer, They will made you feel like you are family. The service department is second to none, they go above and beyond to get you back on the water as quick as possible. The boats are set in place. The have a Puma ftd and a Cougar ftd at the show. The Cougar ftd has a 6ft Power Pole displayed on it. I was fortunate enough to spend 30-40 mins with Ivan yesterday afternoon. Best chat Ive had at a boat show in years! I was a bit unhappy / surprised to see the Dupo folks bringing on the Skeeter line as well but I imagine theres a story behind it. Anyway, fantastic to meet and chew the fat with Ivan…class act! Rest of the show was pretty weak Advantages are taken, not handed out…

Edwin,Thanks for visiting with us yesterday at the St. Louis Boat Show. Your right being able to talk to Ivan about Basscat Boats is an awesome experience. He increases my knowledge level with every conversation. As far as your unhappiness in Dupo Marine for picking up another line, we are sorry you feel that way. In todays market it is about survival. Many other factors beside boat loyalty go into these decisions. Things like Floor Planning, Financing, Models available, and what the competitor is able to offer all have to be part of the equation. Please remember when Rob and Monty opened Dupo Marine, they had two main goals. They want to be the Premier Basscat dealer in the region and to be the best overall service provider in the region. We do not think Marty does boat shows. They are going to do a parking lot show in their area.
