My 2001 Pantera III has post hole in middle of boat floor, with extended deck there is a hole on the flip open portion where post hole is. I placed a 16″ post extension in the floor deck hole and have a 5′ white pvc pipe that fits over the extension extended above deck approx. 3 1/2′, works better than anything else have seen. Note: the pvc pipe likely will need something wrapped around the pipe to make snug where it comes out extended deck post hole. I’m 78, serious health problems-getting up/down to front desk quite difficult, 5′ extension pole very helpful…………………BOB
