stainless prop question

It should be fine, unless you have a blade bent up. That is usually the propeller picking up rocks on the ramp when loading. Those lower water levels reveal more rock humps at the tails of the ramps from the thrust when loading. That build up is picked up and thrown through the propeller wash. Unless you have a large ding, it should be fine. you may loose a MPH or so, though a rebuild coud cost you that much again. Odds are you will tell no visual differences. Just a tenth or so on your GPS. BCB

As BCB stated, you should be fine. Rule of thumb when it needs to be reconditioned is again as BCB stated………..bent blade, chunk missing, or performance less than desirable. Anytime you do hit something that will bend your prop, check your prop shaft as well. A bent prop shaft will need to be repaired, but its less than paying for a lower unit down the road.
