Does the Stealth Charger system work with AGM batteries like the Sears Platnimum or the just lead acid types or maybe both? I have heard it takes a powerful charger(excess of 30amps) to fully maintain the Sears battery but I do not know for sure. Who has this setup and what do you think? Need to replace batteries on my Jag, using the 36 volt 3 battery setup and I am looking for some opinions.ThanksJeff

I have a Sears Platinum in my current boat, and have had no issues with charging.I have also discussed this question with the companys CEO, and he has told me point blank that the Stealth units will work fine with AGM batteries. I have no reason to question the accuracy of what I was told.Mike Whitten/Germantown, TN

Mr WhittenDo you have all AGM batteries? Do you have a 3 or 4 battery setup? Do you have the AC or DC setup? I do not know anyone personally that runs the Stealth and I am unsure about it but I like the way it sounds.ThanksJeff

I have run the Stealth DC on my boat for several years with no issue. My Lester is broke but with the stealth you dont need the AC on board charger unless you put your boat in a slip.My boss has the pro kit that will charge when hooked to his tow truck.We like them.
